Our party is committed to engaging only in local issues, and to taking national party politics out of local government.

Constitution of the Ashtead Independents' party 

The members of the Ashtead Independents' party have come together for the  purpose of creating, protecting, and using an identifiable mark or logo, and descriptors.

 

Our party is committed to engaging only in local issues, and to taking national party politics out of local government.

 

Our constitution recognises that all members are totally independent. Our party has no whip or manifesto, each member will determine their own manifesto as they see fit.

 

We will appoint the necessary officers to the party solely for the purpose of complying with legal requirements. The officers of the party will not be authorised to interpret or dictate the policies or principles of the party without the total consent of all members.
